With 24/7 access and a focus on independent studio practice, we offer a dedicated space to work without the structure of public classes or workshops. Our studio is not open to the public — it’s a space for artists to make, work, and grow.

Studio Details

The studio spans 2,500 square feet across two floors, featuring two washrooms, a kitchen, a/c, central heat, wi-fi, and personal storage.

The main floor is dedicated exclusively to ceramics, while the upper level welcomes artists working across other disciplines and offers additional storage and workspace.

Small by Design

We intentionally keep our community small, creating a more relaxed, collaborative environment than a traditional public studio. With fewer artists sharing the space, there’s room to get to know your studio mates, exchange ideas, and build genuine creative relationships.

The ceramics membership offers an opportunity for emerging ceramicists to hone their craft on their own time - ideal for makers looking to explore ceramics further, launch a small business, or get into full-on production mode.

-unlimited kiln firings at no extra charge*
-tabletop slab roller
-two large 8’x4’ communal work tables with stools
-access to a large selection of studio tools and a rotating selection of dip and brush on glazes
-communal and personal storage space for each artist

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING:
-your own clay
-any additional tools or glazes you prefer

HANDBUILDERS - you’ll find everything you need here

WHEEL THROWERS - you are welcome to bring your own wheel. a designated spot will be provided, and only you will have access to your wheel (no shared use…unless you want to, you do you.)

*the kiln is exclusively run by the studio manager, but there is opportunity to learn how to use and maintain a kiln should a member be interested!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • a minimum of one year of ceramics experience is required — this is a self-led studio with no formal instruction. That being said, if you require advice or assistance on anything studio or practice related, we are always happy to learn and grow together as a community!

  • only mid-fire stoneware (cone 5/6) is permitted in the studio at this time. We can not accommodate earthenware or high fire stoneware/porcelain.

  • we can not accommodate lustre firings at this time, sorry for any inconvenience!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING:
-all tools and materials specific to your practice
-feel free to build out and customize your space to suit your needs.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Second-floor ceiling height is 6'2" - ideal for makers who are mostly seated for their practice or folks not gunning for the NBA.

  • Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate mediums that involve hazardous materials or fumes at this time.
